  The safest place to put your money is in the bank. Know what products your bank offers and the options you have for investing.

  I am the Ackley Office Manager, involved in all facets of banking.

  I like that our small town offers something for everyone... a nice aquatic center, library, college, parks, churches and a theatre. It is comforting to know so many of the community members.

  My family. I enjoy going to school functions, reading, boating, camping, golfing and spending time outdoors.

  Make a budget and stick to it, but make sure the budget includes family fun.

  Iowa Falls is a progressive, caring community with excellent churches and schools. It has a rural flavor with convenience to the interstates for easily transporting people and products to larger urban areas and other parts of the state and country.

  Iowa State University’s winning sports teams, farming, fishing and boating (Harassing the Hawkeye fans).

  Farmers purchasing machinery and equipment should finance it over five years in almost all cases. They can pay it off early if they have the extra funds after paying off operating debt, but maintaining liquidity is quite possibly the most important item on their financial statement.

  Being one of the newer members to the GBBT team and community, I’ve noticed the overall abundance of good-natured people in Iowa Falls and the surrounding area. Everyone has made my family and I feel very welcome and right at home.

  I enjoy spending time with family and friends or participating in just about any outdoor event. I also try to find time to fish, hunt and help on the family farm in northwest Iowa.

  Spend less than you earn. Try your best to save, and when the market is wrong it doesn’t pay to be right.
